Mecca Bingo’s New Site is Finished

The UK’s leading bingo operator Mecca Bingo has finished the revamp of its new online bingo site. Arguably the largest operator in the UK, Mecca Bingo are widely regarded as trend setters.

With Mecca Bingo being so popular among players, it is no wonder their new look online bingo site is getting great reviews.

The new look site is cleaner and easier to navigate according to Emily Hopkins, who players at Mecca Bingo. Miss Hopkins also said “Mecca Bingo’s old site was starting to look a bit dated, it needed to change, especially as there’s so many other bingo sites out there to choose from.”

Mecca Bingo launched the new site just over 2 weeks ago alongside their old one, while they waited for player feedback. Players were able to login onto both and leave comments as to which they preferred as well as any suggestions on improvements.

Mecca Bingo stated that the new site reflects, their focus to keep up-to-date and meet players expectations.

Online Bingo still holding strong

Despite all the doom and gloom that seems to surround us, we can always count on bingo to be there.
The online bingo industry has found itself on the minority side of things, when it comes to succes this year.

With bingo sites offering amazing promotions and offers it really no wonder, more people than ever are clicking on and joining in.
Hundreds of sites are launching themselves into the industry and fighting fiercely to gain their share of the online bingo population.

One such site is Posh Bingo, who recently re-launched their site, and have dedicated two of its bingo rooms to free bingo, giving away £40,000 a month in cash prizes.

All day, every day, players are given the opportunity to win real cash for free.

If you were to ask some people in the world of bingo they would say the the free bingo concept was starrted by Cheeky Bingo who only themselves launched in February.

The industry as a whole even spent over £7million last year on advertising, with the likes of Foxy Bingo spending a quarter of that alone.

I think it safe to say the UK online bingo industry is going strong, helping keep a silver lining in an otherwise grey cloud economy.

STV Group add Online Bingo Site Bingomood.com

STV Group Plc the Scottish media brand and broadcaster recently joined Mecca Bingo in launching a new online bingo site, adding to its currently online bingo site STV Bingo.

Named Bingomood.com the new site offers all new players £15 free on sign up, as well as having a huge range of games for them to try too.

The group also has launched a new ad campaign to coincide with the site going live. STV Creative linked up with The Union, a Scottish ad agency to create the advert, in which members in an aerobics class sing and dance to “I’m in the mood for bingo”.

According to Alistair Brown, head of new media at STV, the adverts show the social side of playing online bingo and how fun it can be.

STV Bingo, which is marketed by Cashcade Ltd, has reportedly preformed well over the last year, and has been one of the reasons behind the launch of the new site Bingomood.com

In STV Group’s results for 2008, were revealed to uk bingo news sources, and showed gross revenues for bingo were up by 19%.

Sharons Bingo

I’m sure you’ve probablty heard by now, but just in case you hadn’t, here it is. Sharon osbourne has launched her very own online bingo site.

Yes that’s right, Sharon Osbourne, wife of Ozzy Osbourne and self confessed bingo lover, has finally come out with her own bingo site.

She’s teamed up with Gala Coral, to create it, much like Sharon it is very bright pink and in your face.

It’s been long coming really, with all the promotions she’s done for Gala bingo it was only a matter of time before she ventured out on her own.

Bingo Fans and fans of Sahron Osbourne will love the site. and pretty much every page has an animation of Sharon Osbourne, so she never leaves you alone.

The site has only been live for a few weeks, but players have already flocked to the site, especailly as it’s giving away £10 free to all new sign up’s.

The site has a realy friendly feel to it, with the chat rooms buzzing.

Mecca Bingo’s New Site

I’m sure you’ll agree when I say Mecca Bingo is probably the largest bingo brand in the country. It’s been around for years and is still going strong.

Recently they even had a re-vamp of their online bingo website.
Now while some will say there was no need, or that it has made the site somewhat too simplistic. I’d say yes the site was fine how it was, but the revamp has, if anything made it better.

The site is easier to navigate, there is a larger range of games, and a whole line up of new promotions. Personally I think players will like the re-vamp, it’s bright and colourful, but changes with each page so it doesn’t get repetitive

Mecca Bingo are also doing a first in launching an Online Bingo Championship. Apparently it’s never been done before and they’re giving players the opportunity to qualifier for it in the first 3 weeks of April.

A 3 Huge jackpot games for the qualifiers will see more than £30,000 up for grabs.

Mecca Bingo definitely know how to launch, don’t they?
